Our Program for Our Student Ministry

Our student ministry (grades 7-12) meets Sunday mornings for Sunday School and Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM for a time of fun, hanging out, and Bible study. Sunday mornings they use The Gospel Project. This curriculum takes students on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Students will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. When students truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed. It is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything.

Our Purpose for Our Student Ministry

FBC Brookline Student Ministry seeks one overarching goal: Seeing Students Committed to Christ and the Local Church.
To do this, we have three areas of emphasis.

  1. We are Word Centered
-Our teaching is focused on Scripture, not morality or entertainment
    -We aim to make disciples
-We prepare students to defend their faith
  2. We are Church Focused
-Students should be part of the local church, not a little sub-church within the church
-We involve students in the ministry and life of the church
-We seek to connect students to men and women who are faithfully following Christ within the church
  3. We are Family Oriented
-Our goal is to strengthen families, not stress or separate them
-We support the parents in their role as the primary disciple-makers of their students
-We equip parents to disciple their children
